Temple has numerous memorials to people connected with the church dating from the mid-nineteenth century to the mid-twentieth century, and includes war memorials to those who lost their lives in the first and second world wars.
There were burial grounds associated with earlier incarnations of the church to either side of the building. These were subsequently closed in the mid-nineteenth century and built upon with the final enlargement of the building in its current configuration. It is uncertain as to what happened to the remains of the just under 200 internments during the time the burial grounds were in use. A few of the grave stones can be seen in the passageway at the west end of the building but these are in poor repair being open to the elements. There also used to be at least five family vaults in the basement of the building. The memorial plaques now seen in the balcony had previously been placed on walls in other parts of the sanctuary, and were moved to their current positions when the sanctuary was refurbished in 2009.

Example of graffiti on a pew in the balcony, curtesy of several generations of Queen's College students, some of which are dated pre 1st World War.
In earlier days during prayers the boys of Queen's used to kneel on the seat facing backwards, which gave them the opportunity to make their mark with the pin of the buckle of their belt, unseen.
Our beautiful stained glass windows were transferred in the 1980's from King Street church Bridgwater after its closure. The memorial window reads 'To the glory of God and memory of Emily S S J Board', who died in 1952.
